What is Smart Event Managers project?
Welcome to develop your skills in the field of event production. Smart Event Managers is aimed for beginners as well as those who have already run their own events.
The project introduces Karelia Open University of Applied Sciences courses starting with the basics and continue to develop individual digital solutions for existing events.
One of our goals is to build a network of actors in the event industry where they can share information and find the actors they need. Training events are also organized for those involved in the network, e.g. sustainable event production.
The operation is made possible by funding received from the European Social Fund, the South Savo ELY Center and Karelia University of Applied Sciences. The duration of the project is 1 May 2021 – 31 October 2023 and the first events and trainings started in autumn 2021.
